Cabana Night Out at Cabana Southampton

We invited beauty and lifestyle blogger Alice Spake on a Cabana Night Out at Cabana Southampton.

Here’s what she thought…

“We booked with Cabana for an evening of chicken straight from the grill and the best hot doughnuts I have ever tasted. Cabana is the home of Rio Street Food and it did not disappoint. We were celebrating our anniversary with the only way we knew how, food! We were welcomed with huge smiles and seated in the beautifully colourful restaurant. As it was happy hour, the perfect way to start the night, Arran ordered a Caipirinha, Brazil’s national cocktail while I went alcohol free with a delicious Cool Colada, fresh pineapple blended with coconut cream, coconut water and ice.

To start, we tried Sweet Potato Hummus alongside the Chargrilled Halloumi with Guava Dip from the Street Food section. Both were delicious and the sweet Guava dip complimented the salty Halloumi perfectly. We both ordered Flame Grilled Chicken for mains and I’m so glad we did, we haven’t stopped talking about the chicken. I tried the Zingy Garlic & Lemon Chicken while Arran tried their famed Spicy Malagueta Chicken. Both are served with flatbreads, slaw, salad and a pot of yummy fries and the chicken slide off the skewers. The chicken was mouth watering and we’re already planning on heading back for more on our next night out.

It wouldn’t be a date without any dessert so we tried the incredible Chocolate Raindrop Doughnuts alongside Churros. We cannot fault the meal or experience at Cabana and by the time we were ready to head up to Showcase Cinema to watch the film we had pre-booked we were in pretty good moods. We had such an enjoyable evening with Cabana which made it the perfect stop off for food before continuing our night out!”
